Audiomaxxx Shut Down
After almost 10 years of operation as one dancehall / reggae music’s biggest alleged bootleggers, Audiomaxxx.Com was shut down earlier this week, after Canadian police raided its operating base located in Winnipeg, Canada. According to media reports, it was the largest raid of its kind ever seen in Canada, and it netted tens of thousands of pirated CDs and DVDs along with five CD/DVD burning towers that together are said to be capable of burning more than 10,000 CDs and DVDs a day.

This is NOT a good thing for reggae as a whole.
Yes he was selling material and not paying anyone…but he was organised and up to date and was beginning to stock a great collection of classics… for a NEW artist AUDIOMAXXX was agreat tool to get known wihtout spending too much money or time…
anyone who is REJOICING over this, doesn’t know how the crooked reggae industry operates…
too many unorganised and half assed labels have been the main reason why reggae is not the biggest ting in the world…artists like BUSY SIGNAL have benfited from Audiomaxxx…

1. audiomaxxx.com has promoted the reggae music like no one else… although he makes a small change off the music… he charges a small price for the cd… which could be used to make the cd… print the cd…. and ship the cd…. how does he make a lot of profit… all the albums i ever saw on audiomaxxx.com aren;t even retail. (FOR THOSE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND. YOU CANNOT FIND NEW REGGAE MUSIC IN STORES>….. ) so now knowing that … where do you get new reggae music from…? most of the artist in the reggae business cut dubplates for cash …. no tax on that and the government doesnt know about this either…. AUDIOMAXXX.com was a great tool… and database if you were looking for music that you cannot find anywhere else… i hope the RCMP and other forces realize that
THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING FOR THE REGGAE SCENE…. ARTIST LOSE PROMOTION PPL DONT KNOW WHAT NEW REGGAE / DANCEHALL MUSIC IS OUT BECAUSE THE ARTIST DONT RELEASE ALBUMS IN STORES. ALSO MANY DJ;S AND SOUND CREWS AROUND THE WORLD HAVE GAVE AUDIOMAXXX.COM THEIR OWN MIX CD;S TO PROMOTE . WHICH ALSO HELPS OTHER DJS GET A NAME.
ON THE VIDEO IT SAYS ARTIST LIKE SHANIA TWAIN AND SOME OTHERS…. LOL…. NOBODY GOES ON AUDIOMAXXX.COM TO BUY HER SHIT…
RCMP YOU RUINED A GREAT THING THAT REGGAE LOVERS LOVED…. SOMETHING THAT WE CANT GET ANYWHERE…. ALL PPL CARE ABOUT IS HURTING THE INDUSTRY … (“HURTING PPL WHO HAVE MILLIONS_ CRY ME A RIVER) THE FOCUS SHOULD BE ON THE SMALL ARTIST…. AS I SAID BEFORE NO ONE GOES ON AUDIOMAXXX.COM TO GET THINGS THEY COULD GET IN STORE….
dem auntymon people nuh no bout reggae cuz how abi in di states fi get di music wen we aint n ja dem auntymon dem nuh undastand n dem getin vex cuz he hustlin wa wrong wit dat day all dem white man dem do f- up everybody else fo dem self n dem nah undastand dat wen dem do dis den dem artist dem nuh gon get known here derfor no body gon go to di show n dem nuh gon mek money we dont get dem tunes here so di site waz good but dem mudda skunt f-d up it fo us
very sad day. repeating wat people sayin before, now what?!. NEW DANCEHALL IS NOT FOUND IN STORES!!! or pretty much anywhere the way it was on audiomaxx. all this limited stuff is DONE, the internet is for communication. dancehall artists need to do somethin to get their new music out on the internet or something. im a dj, i depended on this site and its too bad it had to end like this so randomly. this is a sad day for reggae fans, wat now we gotta wait for mainstream stuff, WHAT MAINSTREAM? there is no mainstream dancehall or reggae. these people tryna “crack” down on it are just cracking down on the growth of the genre itself. and in all honesty the best part of dancehall is the fact that it can grow underground like this. without audiomaxx there really is little we can do to hear wats out their. they should reopen audiomaxx and have the rights and all that stuff fixed. do something please you just killed such a vital in this genre and you have no idea.
Damn Y Audiomaxxx Had 2 Go! I’ve Been A Customer Of Audiomaxxx Since A Yute And Now Di Fuckin Cops Dem Wanna Shut Dem Down! U Cant Go N E Where Else And Look For Reggae CD’s, New Riddims, DVD’s N E Where But 4rm A Bootlegger And If Thats Da Case Y Not Jus Go After All The Other Bootleggers? All Leh Need 2 Let King Raj Go And Let Him Provid The World With Reggae That Industry Labels Fail To Produce To The Community All Over The World. FREE KING RAJ! And For All Reggae Artist Out There U Should Be Ashamed Of Yourselves If It Wasn’t For King Raj And Audiomaxxx Half Of Ya’ll Wouldn’t Be Known By A Single Soul Today.
Where Can We Followers Of Audiomaxxx Go Now To Get New Upcoming Riddimz Or Purchase SoundClash CD’s/DVD’s Or All The Other Stuff King Raj Was providing?
DAMN THAT BURNS I come from NYC one of the few places where u can find stores that sell reggea music that never had any of those truely hot songs that AUDIOMAXX would bring to the true fans now it just sound like there just trying to push reggea music into the background again I would go to parties and those weak ass DJs didnt even have my shit lets be real the dancehall tracks ppl r danceing to now audio brought to us last fucking year and the shit we got in that last couple of months off that site im not ganna hear until the end of the year if at all they always gatta keep niggas under there fucking thumb man it not fucking right.
Man this is bad. Real bad. I was wondering what happened and then i see this. This certainly ain’t helping the underground scene. And there’s nowhere to buy those videos now. This is actually ENCOURAGE to pirate them! lol
Good riddance
i have all wha audiomaxx have…but i man nuh sell it like him…i love the music and i think its wrong what he was doing. He was ok when he was sell the promo riddims but he got greedy and start selling BIG artist from the US RETAIL cds like akon, neo, jay z and many others.
yeah i agree with SpLiFF that man get power greedy, any way dancehall/reggae music not dead tune in to JAH LIVE RADIO and hear all the latest nuff new riddims..they might shut audiomaxx down but they can’t keep dancehall/reggae music dead we will keep promoting them artist and they work but fa sure me not going sell it..because i pays all royalties! (SoundExchange, BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC)to broadcast all that new stuff but audiomaxx had a lot source to get the latest he could just promote the stuff and don’t go asking for money because he know he would get shut down some day..any way log on ppl and hear the latest in dancehall/reggae..bless u self up and keep reggae music ALIVE.
Spliff, How di hell you have all wha audiomaxxx have and don’ sell it?! So how did you get it? and how are we supposed to get it now! Dat no make sense. Oh! we supposed to log onto radio internet now and dats it? C’mon! nuff artist and dj neva woulda get dem name out there worldwide because of a site like this. Now I can’t find my new riddims and I can’t download the latest mix Cd’s from Rennaissance, Chinese Assassin…whole heap of dem.
He’s wrong for bootlegging the mainstream artist cd….but that’s not what I was using the site for…Now I have to go all the way to Swap Shop in Sunrise, FL to get the mix cd or fly to JA to buy from the yute de inna Halfway tree. Cho!! Mi sorry fi di rest a unno who live in all Oklahoma, Australia, Japan, and Europe who can’t get the latest. Broooklyn mi nah feel sorry fi unno ,you have nuff bootleg out deh ! Ha! Ha!
if you look online you can find all the tune n riddim raj have. whey yu think him get him music. the labels all vex at him. dem supply raj? no way. true people a share file an ting and i guess thats pirating. but its wrong fi try profit from smaddy else work still.
YO YDread BECAUSE IAM NUH STUPID like audiomaxxx.I knew audiomaxxx would go down because it was so illegal what he was doing. Also man its a lot of people out there that gets the new releases each day.
Hey, The King is Dead, Long Live The King! I Dont kno or care about the ethics involved, Half the stuff you want you cant buy, englands blocked most dancehall with any teeth anywayz. I Would of spent my cash with vp or greensleeves but why should i have to wait for some other dick to choose what chunes i like based on what money was spent by labels pushing there tatt last summer!#*% This seems only to discourage growth within the scene, I have gone direct to artist for Acapella for remix, so far i send the money and listen excuses. Money Money MOney, and your all pissed that you wernt making it! wha now endless sean paul? Beenie Man? The scene is f**King its self if it dont open up to the world, its got enough nmes without us holding it back. VP,Greensleeves(VP!) If YOU WANT MY MONEY PLEASE TAKE IT, JUST PULL YOUR FINGERS OUT AND DONT KEEP TELLING ME MR C.E.O. MAN THAT THERE IS NO MARKET FOR THAT LEVEL OF UNDERGROUND DANCEHALL RIDDIM Becuz if Raj Did ONE THING BETTER THAN YOU IT WAS RELEASE DANCEHALL FROM CORPERATE PAP! Nuff
someone needs to start some s**t to put back the site cuz dancehall is all about bootleggin just as it was said above. for years i’ve been on top of my s**t when it comes to new riddims.now what????? police dnt have nothin better to do with their time. they need to go do something productive for their community instead of pissin people off all the time.
yo, wah gwan with dis ting mon, bun di thiefin man, him a rob di artiste dem fi years, bring fiyah pon dem. blaze him in front of all di artites. I support the artsts, not the thiefin man.
jus mek him a come to halkf way three and let all di artistes dem know a when. jus once, ya see.
Its a pity! We never learn! Babylon is laughing. I live in London England and you will not get any fresh chunes nor riddims. Audiomaxxx was a great marketing tool for reggae and dancehall. Big business felt challenged and Audiomaxxx paid the ultimate sacrifice. Sorry guys, but I don’t see how the artist has benefited from the closure of audiomaxxx.
Kimg Raj is not dead people….I my one of his followers. I got shot down in Decatur , Ga myself….All hail to the king.
