Leading dancehall artiste Mavado’s brand new Rass Kassa-directed video for his anthem “So Special”, will premier next week Monday (January 26) on BET’s flagship show – 106 & Park. Already, both 106 & Park presenters – Terrence & Rocsi – have started to promote the upcoming world premiere of the video by shouting it out on the daily program. This has already helped to create a huge anticipation for Monday’s show.

“It’s a great look for the Artist,” said manager Julian Jones-Griffith. “Usually when a Dancehall song shows crossover potential there is no campaign behind it to push it to that next level. This video will certainly help Mavado connect with new fans and markets, who are familiar with his captivating voice and tracks but not so familiar with him.“

“So Special” continues to rise on the Billboard Hot 100 Hip Hop and R’n'B charts, along with Serani’s “No Games”, both of which are on the Unfinished Business riddim. Mavado’s sophomore album “Mr. Brooks – A Better Tomorrow” is expected in stores on March 4. This is a Dancehall.Mobi update.
