MOBODancehall.Mobi news update – the nominations for the 2009 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards were announced in London last night, and include an impressive line up of the UK’s finest urban music talent, as well as some of the best dancehall / reggae artistes out of Jamaica right now. Mavado, Sean Paul, Serani, Tarrus Riley and Vybz Kartel are the five nominees for the “Best Reggae” category. The 2009 Mobo Awards will be held in Scotland at Glasgow’s Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) on 30 September 2009. This is the first time in its 13 year history that the event will be held outside of London.
