Blak Ryno On Assault Charge
Dancehall.Mobi news update – Romaine Anderson, more popularly known as Blak Ryno, reportedly faced the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday, to answer to charges of unlawful wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm. Ryno, is accused of kicking and beating his neighbor, allegedly over unpaid water bills at his apartment complex.
According to reports, on October 17 at about 7:15 p.m., Ryno was at his apartment located in the Kingston 10 area, when an argument developed between him and the complainant, who also happens to be the chairman of his apartment complex’s strata committee. The argument reportedly stemmed from an on-going dispute over water bill payment contributions, which is mandatory for residents of the complex. The complainant was allegedly accused of damaging pipes, which affected the supply of water to Ryno’s apartment.
The argument reportedly escalated into a fight, and Ryno is accused of kicking the complainant to the ground, and kicking him all over his body, causing cuts, bruises and swelling to his shoulder, elbows, head, face, back and chest. A report was made to the Half-Way-Tree police, and Anderson was arrested and charged.
He is booked to return to court on December 10 when the matter will be heard again.
