New Ken Boothe Album Coming In 2010
Dancehall.Mobi news update – rocksteady legend Ken Boothe, is reportedly putting the finishing touches on a new album which he has reportedly said sounds closer to Memphis, Tennessee, than to Denham Town (the west Kingston community where he was born).
The still untitled is co-produced by British music veteran Simba, and Skip McDonald (an American musician who played an influential role in the early years of pioneer rap label, Sugarhill Records). The album will be released in 2010, with the proposed lead single “Never Let Me Go” scheduled to be released by the end of this year.
