Dancehall.Mobi news update – last night, international dancehall deejay Sean Paul won the newly added “Best Reggae Artiste” category at the 2009 Soul Train awards. It was the first time ever in the history of this 21-year-old event that a reggae category was being included, and Sean Paul took the award over fellow Jamaicans, Mavado, Serani, Tarrus Riley, and Ziggy Marley. Last night’s award show was recorded and will be broadcast on November 29 on the new Centric (formerly BET J).
