Sean Paul Collabo With Jay Sean Looks To Be A Chart Topper
Dancehall.Mobi special update – last month at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), international dancehall deejay Sean Paul happened to meet British singer Jay Sean on the red carpet, and Sean Paul reportedly remarked “Me and You need to work together.” Two days later, Jay Sean called Sean Paul in Jamaica and sent him the track, and Sean Paul reportedly did his piece and sent it back to Jay Sean the very the same day.
From that, Jay Sean’s “Do You Remember” featuring Sean Paul and crunk rapper Lil’ Jon was born. It was released on iTunes earlier this week, and sales reportedly went through the roof – in just a few days, the song has already jumped to the #1 spot on the iTunes R&B chart. Jay Sean’s “Down” single with popular rapper Lil’ Wayne currently holds top 5 spots on various Billboard charts, and “Do You Remember” seems destined for the top as well. There are plans to shoot a music video for the song very soon.
