Bounty Killer vs. Vybz Kartel Clash Likely @ Sting 2009
Dancehall.Mobi special update – while there’ll be no Gully/Gaza clash at this year’s Sting stage show, it seems likely that the ‘father’ (Bounty Killer) and ’son’ (Vybz Kartel) will clash at this year’s show. At the Sting launch last night at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, it’s organizer – Isaiah Laing – announced that he was 95% sure that the face-off between Bounty and Kartel would be happening, and that the other 5% is currently being sorted out. It is not known if money is the sticking point, but it is widely rumored that Vybz Kartel had demanded US$100,000 (J$9 million) to clash with BOTH Mavado and Bounty Killer at the same time.
