Security Concerns Cause Cancellation Of Champions In Action Canada
Dancehall.Mobi events update – Action Promotions & Presidential Click’s Champions In Action (Canadian Edition) show, which had previously been scheduled to happen on October 10, but subsequently postponed (reportedly due to pressure from gay rights groups who opposed Elephant Man being included on the line up), to Friday, November 27, has now been canceled.
According to reports, the head of security at the venue (Kool Haus in Downtown Toronto) expressed concerns regarding security for the event, and those concerns were relayed to the owner of Kool Haus, who has ordered the cancellation of the event. Once again, the promoters and dancehall / reggae fans are being left with the bitter taste of disappointment in their mouth, but ticket holders are being assured that they can get a full refund on their ticket(s) at the same location at which they were bought.

If you preach hate like Elephant Man and Beanie Man then you will not be allowed to play in Canada. Period. If you don’t like gay people..fine. But don’t expect to make a profit off small minded backward bigotry in THIS HERE country. I am a Canadian citizen, but I am ashamed of being born in Jamaica!
