Merciless Wants Seven Figures For Sting 2009
Dancehall.Mobi special update – dancehall deejay Merciless, who has had his fair share of wins and losses at various stage show clashes over the years, and whose “Letter To Mama” on the England Town riddim has been generating some buzz lately, is seeking a seven figure pay day for a Sting 2009 appearance.
In a recent interview with the Jamaica Observer’s Chat magazine, he reportedly said “Leonard ain’t no cheap artiste. I am talking big bucks this year. It look like everybody [referencing Vybz Kartel & Elephant Man] start their figure in the millions, so that’s where I have to start too … after Sting done, Merciless must can buy a car, at least.“
Merciless is already being advertised on the Sting bill, but he has reportedly said that he and the promoter are “still in negotiations”.

i hope the promoters of sting plan to stage another show next year.cause from where i sit i don’t see them being able to pay these greedy ba….ds (dJs)the millions they are asking, pay the hard working people behind the scene and come out in the black unless they ask for $10.000 a pop at the gate.dont tell me seh the artiest dont know seh poor people fed-up.
