Dancehall.Mobi events update – Ocean Splash ’009 – a day long holiday beach party featuring live music, sports, performances, and holiday giveaways – happens this Sunday, December 20, at the James Bond Beach in St. Mary.

Dancehall / reggae stars Aidonia, RDX, Delly Ranx, Mad Cobra, Captain Barkey, Wickerman, Vybrant, Anthony Cruz, Tony Curtis, Spragga Benz, Lukie D, Prestige, Jigsy King, Galaxy P, Mega Banton, Beetle Bailey, Ninja Kid, Little Chris, Mitch, Teacha D, Mr. Peppa, I-Octane, Kashu Man, Higher Boukie, Stikki, and Blacka Pride will lead the charge in a celebrity football (soccer) game against Oracabessa’s 007 All-Stars Football (Soccer) Team.

Ocean Splash ’009 will also feature live performances from dancehall’s ‘first lady’ D’Angel, velvet-voiced singers Terry Linen, and Anthony Cruz, dancehall soul diva Tanya Stephens, roots chanter Prestige, and popular Dutty Fridaze dancers Dyema, Iyla, Marvin, and Back It Up.

“Excellence in music and sports are two areas that set Jamaica apart from the rest of the world-we are known as the birthplace of Reggae and for having stellar athletes,” said Ocean Splash ’009 organizer Tasz Smith, of Triple T Production. “This holiday season, everybody is feeling the pinch in the current economic climate. Ocean Splash ’009 is a fun-day, a beach party where people can come out and celebrate the holidays with live music, sports, and entertainment, at an affordable price. We have special holiday giveaways, and lots of surprises in store for our patrons.“

Triple T Production will have special holiday giveaways -any and every thing from t-shirts, to household appliances, and even a 32-inch flat screen television. Music will be provided by Jam Rock sound system and Dutty Fridaze’s Slim-J & Fire 20.
