Dancehall.Mobi video premiere – fast-rising dancehall deejay Wasp celebrates his birthday later tonight in Cassia Park. After unleashing his big ‘Unfair /Officer’ single earlier this year, Wasp followed up with a single titled “Cry Fi Dem”, a somber ballad that speaks to the plight of the less fortunate and their struggles to maintain daily existence. He recently released the music video for “Cry Fi Dem”, and we’ve featured it below. The black and white video was shot in Half-Way Tree, Downtown Kingston and the quarries of Bull Bay, and brings to life the gripping and harsh realities of the poor and sometimes unforgotten souls that call the streets their home. There are cameos by Ninja Ford and reggae songstress Etana.
