Darkcide International Heads To Florida
Dancehall.Mobi special update – uptown sound system sensation Darkcide International, will this Sunday, December 20th, embark on a week-long promotional tour of Florida. Ahead of their departure, they recently completed stints at Ms. Conduct in Clarendon, Frosted Pleasures at the Mango Ranch in Kingston along with several Government assignments at various ministry offices across the island.
On Sunday, Darkcide International will make a stop at WBIG 95.9 FM, the number one Caribbean radio station in South Florida, where they are the specially invited guest DJs for a four hour showcase broadcasting to a large cross-section of the sunshine state’s eighteen million residents. From there, DJ Wah Wa will play at various clubs and hot spots in the Miami, South Beach, Tampa and Orlando area including the very popular Truck Stop on Tuesday, December 22nd and Club MVP in West Palm Beach on Christmas Eve, before returning to the island in time for Sting on December 26.
“Originally we were booked for two assignments by the promoters, however it seems that when people found out we were going to be in the area, they were delighted and contacted us with additional gigs. Given the fact we have an ever growing fan base they wanted us to stay for an entire month unfortunately due to our hectic roster of events, we couldn’t oblige,” said Shadow (Darkcide’s Head of Media and Marketing).
Florida party / dancehall fans, look out for Darkcide International in your area over the next few days.
