Boops Riddim 2009 – Shane Brown Tribute To Steely
Dancehall.Mobi riddim update – as a tribute to the late Wycliffe ‘Steely’ Johnson, producer Shane Brown (Juke Boxx Records) has relicked the Boops riddim from the mid-1980s, the same riddim that spawned the monster ‘Boops’ hit single by Super Cat. Inspired by Steely’s creative talents, Brown’s Boops riddim 2009 features a collection of artistes who live in the legacy of Steely’s work including Assassin, Busy Signal (who has three songs on the riddim), Elephant Man, Konshens, Lutan Fyah, Romain Virgo, Timeka Marshall and Tarrus Riley. Check them out below.
