Chino Releases “Never Change” In Japan
Seemingly going where the market and the album sales money is, dancehall/reggae artiste Chino opted to release his “Never Change” album today in Japan. With largely lethargic American/Caribbean/UK sales of dancehall/reggae albums and singles, Chino has made a clear play to bypass these markets (at least for now), and focus on the Japanese market which actually spends money to fill their almost insatiable appetite for Jamaican music. Notably, the 18-track sophomore Japan effort by Chino features a Japanese version of the album’s lead single “Never Change (From Mawning)“.
