International dancehall deejay Sean Paul took time out of his busy schedule recently, to make a surprise visit at Halls of Learning’s “Lego Yuh Mind Jrs” children’s summer camp in Kingston. Why? One of the camp’s latest offerings is a course called “Artful Bricksters“, which teaches children artistic principles by making mosaics and sculptures out of LEGO. Children made mosaics of Jamaican cultural icons such as Miss Lou and Damian Marley in previous weeks, and the subject of their most recent creation was none other than Sean Paul. Singapore-based LEGO Certified Professional, Nicholas Foo, collaborated with Halls of Learning to design instructions for the mosaic based on a photo of Sean Paul, that called for more than 4,000 LEGO bricks.  When Sean Paul found out about the large-size LEGO mosaic of himself that was in the works, he decided to drop by and surprise the children; snapshots by Joanna Francis featured below.
