Just hours before the scheduled start of his retrial in a Tampa, Florida court on drug conspiracy and other charges, dancehall/reggae artiste Buju Banton scored a morale-boosting victory earlier tonight, when his Before The Dawn [ Amazon | iTunes ] album was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Reggae Album’ category at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
